The role:

Northern Health, one of Victoria's busiest Health Care Providers, is currently seeking a number of Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurses or Enrolled Nurses to join our ever-growing team in the in the Surgical Division, including:

• Surgical Wards (Plastics, General Surgical, Orthopaedics, Colorectal, Vascular, Thoracic, ENT, Gynaecology, Obstetrics & Urology)
• Peri Operative Areas (Operating Theatre, Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU, Day Surgery, Endoscopy & CSSD)
• Elective Surgery & Endoscopy Bookings

As a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the ward. You will be responsible for will assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient’s individual needs.

We are seeking motivated, positive and ambitious senior nurses to deliver outstanding patient care. This is a great opportunity for a Nurse who would like to progress their career in this area of specialty.

You will also demonstrate:

• Current qualifications and registration with AHPRA as either a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
• An ability to provide clear patient education and instruction
• Sound computer literacy and documentation skills
