Position Summary
Staff Specialist - Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join the Medical Services team.
This position will be responsible for the provisions of Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Services for patients at Latrobe Regional Hospital and will be involved in the training and supervision of medical, midwifery and nursing staff as required.
The aim of this position is to ensure that the delivery of obstetric & gynaecology services (within the rural maternity service framework) are consistent with the clinical governance framework and core values of LRH.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a medical specialist (Obstetrician & Gynaecologist)
- Leadership and management experience, including the development of staff
- Significant experience working at a senior level in a major hospital
