This practice based in Ballarat aims to empower children and teens to reach their full potential, using evidence-based practice. Their mission is to support clients to reach their goals and dreams while engaging in fun and positive activities tailored to their individual needs.
About the role
- Comprehensive supervision program with senior practitioners in place
- Working collaboratively with team of allied health professionals and with families to produce the best possible outcomes for children and teens from 6 months to 18 years old.
- Delivering creative and engaging programs one on one, in group settings, schools, clinic, and home visits.
- Gain exposure to a diverse but manageable caseload across wide range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disabilities, sensory processing disorder, fine and gross motor, low muscle tone, and handwriting delays and supporting skill development.
- Full or part-time time, flexible working hours including some working from home
- Attractive hourly rate based on experience plus superannuation
- Paid travel for non-clinic work

- Allocated laptop, iPad and Wifi
- New Grads will be allocated a supervisor to provide consistent mentoring and support in all areas of practice, including report writing, assessment completion,

- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Strong communication, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with good time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience and interest in working with children
- Ability to handle a diverse and manageable caseload
