Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and general registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Demonstrated experience as a level 2 or equivalent.
- Demonstrated extensive clinical expertise in provision of Occupational Therapy services within Acute Care across various clinical areas
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and decision making including clinical reasoning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) and demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications
- Proven ability to provide leadership, to effectively manage and support staff and to work with staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting program development, quality improvement activities and professional education
