An exciting opportunity exists for Operating Theatre Assistant to join a dynamic team at Hornsby Hospital Perioperative Suite

Where you'll be working
Hornsby Perioperative Suite is a fast paced dynamic unit. There are 6 operating suites. Located in Hornsby, public transport nearby and plenty of parking available.

What you'll be doing

Providing support to front line clinical staff in the preoperative suite. Safe transfer and transport of patient whilst in perioperative suite. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment. Assist with maintaining adequate stores.

  • Compassionate manner with all patients to provide exceptional care
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, which includes being on feet most of the day and frequent pushing and lifting of patients and other heavy items
  • Attention to detail in performing tasks – eg. cleaning and stock control
