Could this be you?

Reporting to the National Director, Operations this individual will be a critical resource supporting the development and expansion of an innovative virtual care model that supports Village Medical patients 24/7. This individual will partner with a Physician or APP leader to manage a team of Advance Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) to deliver a best-in-class virtual patient experience. This role will create structure and process around provider scheduling, quality assurance, and workflow development to support our APP-led team through a period of rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities of the Manager, Operations include:

  • Serve as an operational dyad leader for a team of Advance Practice Providers that deliver direct patient care through chat and virtual visits (telehealth)
  • Manage all provider scheduling functions to ensure 100% uptime of a 24/7 virtual care model while balancing needs and experience of our APP team
  • Partner with APP lead to develop a quality assurance program that leads to data driven continuous improvement across the team
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Clinical Leadership to develop workflows that improve patient and provider experience
  • Develop a monthly reporting framework to demonstrate both team productivity and program impact and effectiveness
  • Serve as a Practice Operations subject matter expert on the delivery of other operations initiatives, as needed

What you bring to VillageMD:

  • Experience with value-based care and demonstrated understanding of operations' role in supporting success in a value-based model
  • Track record of working to develop Electronic Medical Record and CRM workflows, preferably in athenahealth and Salesforce Healthcloud
  • Understanding of the complexities and licensing requirements of running a virtual care delivery model
  • Strong mentoring and relationship building skills with ability to effectively manage group and interpersonal conflict situations
  • 3 – 5 years of practice operations experience, preferably in a primary care or virtual care setting with a proven track record of successfully leading teams on complex initiatives
  • Thorough understanding of the healthcare environment and specific knowledge of physician practice management and virtual care delivery
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration, graduate degree preferred

For Colorado Residents only: The base compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
