About You
You have the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour with an excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail. You have a proven ability to strictly follow and comply with company policies and procedures. You are confident and perform well under pressure. You believe in the value of Victoria's Road Safety Program and are keen to play a part in its success whilst living Serco's values of Trust, Care Innovation and Pride.
You are comfortable dealing with people over the phone and have a good knowledge of UHF radio usage. You demonstrate sound IT skills such as typing and the ability to use multiple screens. You have a current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster is a key aspect of this role, including working night shifts, weekends, public holidays and picking up spare shifts on short notice. In return, you will receive ongoing training and mentoring from engaged and passionate leaders within a small, friendly and relaxed team environment. An advantage would be to live in or near Tullamarine.
This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment as an essential selection component for this role. Chosen applicants will also need to successfully complete a pre-employment medical prior to commencement.
About the Role:
We currently have multiple part-time opportunities for Operations Support Officers to join our team. You will work an average of 15-20 hours per week and have flexibility to work additional shifts when required. This role involves being the communication link with our Mobile Safety Camera Operators (MRSCOs) who work on the road, to ensure their safety and act as an information source. This role involves communicating with operators over the phone and radio, data input and checking, and providing general information and support to the MRSCOs while they are on the road.

Serco’s Traffic Camera Services division operates Victoria's mobile safety camera program, maintains fixed red light cameras and provides image verification services to the State of Victoria. We have over 250 dedicated staff working to help reduce Victoria's Road Toll.
