About
As the Ordering Specialist you will be responsible for managing the product and spare kits Bill of Materials creation and changes during the early stages of the PCS (Product Creation System) You will also be responsible for but not limited to:
- Proactively supporting the Engineering BOM construction and maintenance and being the bridge to the MBOM creation, checking and implementation accuracy and completeness.
- Place and expedite prototype orders.
- Stage parts ready for prototype builds.
You
As an experienced Ordering Specialist you will be savvy in the configuration and BOM Management within a mainstream PLM system. You will also have experience and an understanding of the product development cycle, engineering change management, system engineering and sourcing preferred. you will also have the following:
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and self-starter
- Proven leadership skills. Strong work ethic, self-motivating, ability to lead and work as part of a team.
- Intuitive and physical appreciation of manufactured parts
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering and/or associated management qualifications.
