This opportunity
As Paid Social Media Manager you are responsible for ensuring that our paid social marketing strategies are carried out effectively, and for managing paid social marketing initiatives across a range of different social platforms that deliver to our Brand promise and commercial acquisition targets.
Responsibilities
- Ownership and management of paid social campaigns directly reporting to the Senior Media Manager.
- Effectively manage campaigns across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Help maintain mutually beneficial working relationships with our social media partners.
- Play a key role in Paid Social performance related projects in line with overall strategy and business goals, including account audits and restructures, creative templates and dynamic ads implementation, enhanced audience segmentation and targeting, customer journey optimisation, refinement of retargeting/prospecting strategies, test & learn initiatives, etc
- With the help and guidance of the Senior Media Manager:
- Brief and work with production agency on all creative requirements.
- Plan, execute, optimise, audit & report on Paid Social performance campaigns.
- Execute and report on Paid Social brand campaigns in line with overall digital media strategy.
- Conduct in-flight and post campaign performance reviews and insights
- Develop skills, tech literacy, and strategic thinking to better contribute to the media team
- Develop an intimate knowledge of the customer, identify and solve customer tensions and craft a paid social strategy to acquire, maintain and defend different audience segments across social platforms.
- Develop Customer Journeys for different social platforms and audiences, to efficiently drive traffic and conversion both online and offline.
- Work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders to deliver campaigns and business results:
- Agency Partners: Creative, Media, Production.
- Marketing Team: Performance Media, Martech, Acquisition, Insights, Marketing Operations, Content and Brand & Communications teams.
- Business Units: Segment, Product, CLM.
- Report against campaign and commercial targets and impact to the business, track and monitor reporting back to the business on success and opportunity.
Knowledge and experience
- 3/4 years’ experience in digital marketing & performance media, with a focus on paid social marketing.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Communications or similar.
- A proven track record of developing effective campaigns that drive tangible business and commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the role that Paid Social plays across the funnel.
- Ability to understand where automation platforms and measurement tools can be brought into the mix to deliver ROI against our smarter solutions.
- Strong experience with managing effective TikTok brand and acquisition campaigns, a bonus
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to present complex/technical matters in a way that is easily understood by cross-functional stakeholders.
- High adaptability, can think on their feet and deal with unexpected changes and problems/crises.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation with demonstrated resiliency and have the ability to work under pressure within a dynamic fast paced environment.
