This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional to join a dynamic and growing South Australian business. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be working as part of a team, to ensure the timely processing of multiple pay runs for over 5,000 staff across the organisation.

What will you be responsible for?

• End-to-end payroll processing of any of the weekly, fortnightly, monthly pay runs
• Completing day-to-day transactional payroll data entry, data verification and successful delivery of all aspects of payroll as directed
• Responding to employee queries and ensuring compliance with SLA
• Developing sound knowledge of Peregrine policies and procedures, industrial awards and agreements and reverent legislation
• Interpreting awards and agreements to facilitate accurate payroll delivery
• Complete complex back pay calculations and LSL reconciliations

What skills and experience will our ideal candidate have?

• 3-5 years' payroll experience, preferably in a large corporate environment
• Sound understanding of Payroll Legislation
• Ability to interpret numerous awards and agreements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with advanced Excel abilities
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
