About the role:
- Assisting residents in their daily activities, delivering the best possible care, ensuring wellbeing and comfort.
- Maintaining a friendly homelike environment where residents are encouraged to engage in activities of their choice.
- Ensuring the safe and appropriate use of equipment, with an emphasis on resident comfort and safety.
- All aspects of personal hygiene – showering, continence, bedding, and clothing.
- Observing, reporting, and responding to all changes in resident health and wellbeing including maintaining accurate, factual, and thorough progress notes.
- Ensuring resident requests are attended to within the scope of their care plan and ensuring all complaints are resolved reported to the Care and Service Manager.
About you:
- Believe in the importance of developing strong human connections and providing quality care to residents.
- Certificate III in Individualised Support – Aged Care.
- High level of interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Flexible with availability across a 7 day roster.
- Ability to follow written instructions, comprehend care plans, and record accurate progress notes.
