About the role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician or Intern Pharmacist with efficient dispensing skills to be part of our highly skilled team at our new pharmacy in Nepean Private Hospital.
Your experience in providing a high level pharmacy service, accurate dispensing and exceptional customer service skills are critical for this role.
Our service provides contemporary, consistent and patient focused hospital pharmacy services.
Key responsibilities
- Patient focused approach to workplace
- Dispense medications in line with legal and professional requirements, under the direction of a Pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory
- Assist the Pharmacist prepare medication lists to facilitate medication management
- Attend to customers and clients at the counter
- Delivery of medications to wards/hospitals
You must have
- A can-do attitude and team focus
- Proven pharmacy experience
- Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
- A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
- Demonstrated experience working in fast paced environment
- Hospital experience is highly desirable.
- Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders
