Job Description

  • Hybrid role | Work from home and in the office
  • Part time, 0.8 FTE, 18 month fixed term contract

The Project Coordinator will assist with the administration of tasks that come under the new mentoring project. This will include tracking tasks and monitoring the budget, coordination of the working group (agendas, minutes), reporting and managing data, coordination of events and general administration. The role will work closely with the project working group and RANZCOG staff to ensure the timely delivery of the project within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of the project in accordance with the proposal and project plan.
  • Track and manage the delivery of the project against the approved budget.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate contracts and supplier arrangements in line with project requirements
  • Administration of surveys, reporting, data collection and analysis over the life cycle of the project.
  • Assist with the development of guidelines and framework for the program.
  • Coordinate the development of program resources.
  • Coordinate the mentoring and networking events in line with the project requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Mentoring Working Group meetings and activities.
  • Prepare reports for the Commonwealth Department of Health as specified in the contract.
  • General administrative and day to day project support.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

  • At least two years of project management experience would be highly regarded but not essential.
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation and the ability to work effectively and autonomously.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in managing committees, working groups and other project reference groups.
