Job Role: Project Manager

Salary: $130K - 140K / Annum || Corp-Corp Rate: $65-$70/

Client Name: Robosoft (Direct Client)

Client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who will take on management of key client projects with the goal of delivering every project on time,

within budget and scope.

Roles & responsibilities

• Oversee technology projects and work to support client’s technology roadmap.
• Manage activities of mid to long term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
• Lead each project through the project life cycle phase while optimally executing the processes defined by the PMO using the tools provided
• Perform duties related to day to day project management including project planning, scope definition, status reports, budget management, carrying out project management standard methodologies/processes, and supporting the continuous improvement of PMO operations
• Meet with project team members (functional and technical) to identify and resolve risks and issues and report/escalate to leadership as needed.
• Plan and designate project resources, monitor progress using appropriate tools and techniques/KPIs and keep sponsor and stakeholders informed
• Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources, including third party vendors
• Support adhoc project requests including but not limited to regulatory and compliance programs
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Desired skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Science discipline, Finance, Business or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 12-15 years of overall experience and proficiency in handling Software and IT projects.
• Over 3 years of experience in project management in the IT sector including web development and mobility.
• Experience working in a PMO environment and demonstrated ability to lead cross functional matrixed project teams which may include IT, DevOps, Legal, Regulatory and Engineering
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web & mobile technologies.
• Should have experience in handling end-to-end projects, preferably from a services standpoint.
• Ability to influence, collaborate and demonstrate strong facilitation skills
• Good organizational skills; including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet and PPM tools (Atlassian suite – Jira and Confluence) SCRUM/Agile Development experience is a must.
• PMP & Scrum Master certification is a plus
• Prior experience in the Energy sector (Power Generation/Distribution, Gas Operations etc.) is a plus.

Salary: Up to $135,000.00 per year
