Council is seeking to appoint a Permanent Full Time Project Manager to contribute to Council’s success.
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to manage capital works projects and provide engineering support to other business groups in the delivery of long-term projects. This position is required to manage project activities and execute project deliverables in a safe manner and complete projects to high-quality standards, on time and within budget.
Essential criteria
1. Diploma of Project Management (or a related engineering discipline) and specialised skills and experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously whilst responding to changing timeframes and project variations.
2. Experience delivering civil related capital works projects.
3. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills to engage with contractors, service authorities, consulting engineers and senior management.
4. Knowledge of and experience using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and corporate business systems.
5. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
