About the role
We have an exciting opportunity in an evolving role in the Digital Health and Innovation space.
The SLHD Clinical Information Systems Directorate is seeking a Project Manager who is engaging and passionate about Digital Health. This role will be responsible for managing one or more projects within Clinical Information Systems, ensuring the project(s) are delivered within agreed scope, quality, time and constraints to agreed outcomes and benefits.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to establish collaborative and influential relationships with stakeholders to ensure easy and effective achievement of team/project/business goals.
We are looking for someone who…
Has Tertiary qualifications in health sciences, project management or equivalent experience in a complex health facility.
Demonstrates an understanding of project management and ability to meet objectives within stated project timeframes. Detailed understanding of project methods and tools, particularly as they relate to technical project delivery environments.
Has demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills, particularly in reporting, public presentation and consultation.

About working for SLHD
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.
A third dose is a requirement for Category A positions and booster doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
