Why your role matters
The Project Officer, Digital Assessment Program (DAP) contributes to the adoption and transition to the business-as-usual use of Inspera across the University, enabling a fundamental shift in enhancing the student experience and positioning UNSW as a sector leader.
This will involve working with the DAP Management team including the Senior Product Owner, the Program Manager, Change Manager as well as broader project members to implement the project and support the achievement of the deliverables.
The role is within the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience (PVCESE) portfolio Innovation pillar, Educational Delivery Solutions theme, Digital Assessment Program (DAP)
Who you are
Skills and experience required
To be successful you must have:
- A relevant qualification with subsequent experience or competence gained through any combination of education and training. Experience in successful educational technology project coordination and implementation, or similar experience is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in project administration and coordination with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans and objectives including managing logistics, expenditure, milestones, promotions, communications documentation and reporting.
- Strong service orientation and ’client’ focus, together with high-level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in multidisciplinary teams with the capacity to take responsibility, exercise independent judgement and proactively identify and escalate complex problems as they arise in a “client-customer” focussed environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in contributing to and/or coordinating communications, producing accurate, appropriate and meaningful information for a selected audience.
- Demonstrated interest in education and assessment, with experience utilising digital assessment platforms through employment or study.
