Position details
The Team:
- This position will be co-located with the Mental Health Reform Team which is working with a wide range of key stakeholders to progress exciting reform agendas across Adult Mental Health Services , Older Persons Mental Health Services and the AoD sector.
- As such, the individual will be part of a larger high functioning team and will have access to a broad range of resources across a number of domains including the communication, education, IT, protocol / policy development and data collection and reporting areas.
The Role:
- This position is expected to work collaboratively with other team members and with key stakeholders from within SMHS and ADS, the non-government AOD sector, and other identified key stakeholders to support the implementation of the AOD Reform Agenda and the planning, coordination, development, monitoring and evaluation of specific projects arising from the implementation of the AOD Reform Agenda.
More specifically this role will work under the day to day oversight and direction of the Senior Project Officer and/or Project Officer to:-
- Manage and coordinate the day to day administrative tasks associated with the implementation of the AOD Reform Agenda and related specific projects, including providing administrative project support to the AOD Reform Agenda Steering Committee and Working Groups as directed.
- Provide project and operational support including assisting with the development of project management documentation, such as project plans, communications strategies, change management processes, risk and issue registers, reports and other documents relevant to the successful implementation of the AOD Reform Agenda, and related projects.
- Prepare high level correspondence, project reports and submissions as required.
- Develop, establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, to support the successful implementation of the AOD Reform Agenda and related projects.

Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 28 June 2024.

Location:
South – Mental Health
Base Salary: $88,483 to $92,867 + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019
