An opportunity has become available with one of Australia’s premier manufacturers within the Food industry. With multiple sites across both Australia and New Zealand, they are looking to employ a Quality Assurance Manager at one of their sites located in Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Regional Quality and Compliance Manager, this QA Manager role is requiring the successful candidate to provide exceptional leadership, coaching and compliance of the site’s standards, policies and procedures while also supporting the Regional Food Safety and Quality Manager in continuous improvement initiatives and the sites foot safety culture.
- Lead and ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- Be a key member of the Site Operational leadership team
- Work collaboratively with the site team to achieve targets and milestones in Food Safety & Quality
- Provide leadership, coaching and development to the site and drive the quality culture
- Completion of audits
- Provide accurate and timely reports to site and regional management
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position
- Experience within the food manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical industry ideal but not required
- Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement and process improvement
- Strong Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Able to provide insight and quickly identify a way forward when presented with issues
