As the Radiology Manager/ Practice Manager you will play a pivotal role in both the clinical and administrative running of our clinics. You will be the key contact between our team and the Mater Hospital. You will have excellent people management skills with a strong clinical focus that provides high quality, and accurate medical imaging.

About the opportunity:

• Plan and manage the daily workforce requirements and productivity in the clinic by ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning and managing sick and other leave as required.
• Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in the clinic.
• Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging department.
• Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
• Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required.
• Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including referring physicians.
  

About you:

• Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff in a busy and dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to perform high quality medical imaging examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
• Experience in the hospital environment and an understanding how to manage workflow in the hospital environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing

I-MED has a policy which requires all I-MED staff to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 unless they have a valid medical exemption, however each state Public Health Order may have additional requirements, and this will be discussed during the interview process.
