POSITION DETAILS

The Registered Nurse will assist psychiatrists in all clinically related administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

• 
  Acts as a liaison with staff/programs of Merakey and external support providers
• 
  Provide appropriate medical and psychiatric consultation to staff, clients and natural supports.
• 
  Assist psychiatrist in development and maintenance of procedures
• 
  Assist in obtaining medical and psychiatric records and information
• 
  Assures necessary flow of medical and psychiatric information from psychiatrists to other medical providers, residential support programs and other support services.
• 
  Provide medication education to clients
• 
  Administer injections to consumers
• 
  Medication management

  2 years experience working with individuals with mental illness

  Valid PA driver's license
