About the Role
Armidale Hospital has multiple exciting permanent opportunity for Registered Nurses to provide safe compassionate person centred care within the facility ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. The successful candidates will be supported by a dedicated Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator and offered supernumerary shifts on commencement.
Where you'll be working
We are looking for motivated, acute care trained Registered Nurses to join our General Medical Unit in the beautiful highlands of NSW. We have a 32 bed acute mixed medical unit with a dynamic team of young, bright and caring nurses. Our unit cares for Palliative Care, Rehabilitation and Acute Stroke patients, as well as Aged, Cognitive Impaired, Cardiac Telemetry and General Medical patients.
About You
You will need to have good organisational skills such as time management and task prioritising skills and the ability to provide a mentorship to junior nursing team. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate attributes of a leader and have strong initiative.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
