NBH is a newly built hospital commissioned in October 2018. Mental Health Services at comprise of Emergency Mental Health, inpatient services and liaison services. Mental Health inpatient has a total of 61 beds including acute, private, short stay and psychogeriatric.
As a
Registered Nurse you will provide quality health care services to the Northern Beaches community. We offer 12 hour shifts and flexible rostering. We are keen to hear from senior mental health staff, so if you are looking for a change and interested in joining our team give us a call

Current Registration with AHPRA

Working with Children check
- Minimum 3 years experience in mental health nursing
- Interest in working towards further post graduate education
- Mentoring and coaching junior staff and new graduates.
- Commitment to Recovery focused practice.
- Interest in developing quality projects for the mental health inpatient units.
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
This position is based in a large, friendly and supportive environment. It is a 24/7 service and so you will need to have the flexibility to work a full rotating roster.
If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2015 – 2019.
