About the role
Applications are invited from experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a registered nurse, you will be a part of highly dedicated team who provides the best patient centred care for our palliative patients. You will have opportunity to work across palliative care inpatient unit located at Braeside Hospital, Prairiewood and/or PEACH community packages in South- Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD). We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit and also from the Palliative team from SWSLHD. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team, are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities with the added flexibility of choosing part time or full-time rotating roster hours.

Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Commitment to engage and align with Hammond Care’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Experience working in the specialty area of palliative care in inpatient setting or/and community
- Demonstrated ability to work within the multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
