About the role:

We are on the lookout for an experienced Retail Compliance Manager to lead the processes for retail regulatory reporting, by working closely with internal stakeholders including senior leaders and building strong relationships with regulators.

Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, this full-time permanent role will liaise with internal and external stakeholders including senior management, Sales & Marketing, Product & Pricing, and retail energy regulators. Clear, precise communication, and the ability to forge strong relationships are paramount to the success of this role.

Duties:

• Ensure all regulatory reports submitted to regulators have been compiled, reviewed, verified, and endorsed by the appropriate stakeholders
• Provide comprehensive generalist compliance advice, necessary coaching, and support to the retail business on all retail compliance related matters
• Perform regular and ongoing trend analysis of compliance data identifying areas of improvement
• Conduct Post Implementation Reviews to identify process improvements and take learnings to enhance retail reporting processes
• Assess potential compliance breaches, and as required, assist with the preparation and reporting of compliance reports

Skills and experience:

• 5 years’ experience in the Retail Energy sector
• Strong experience in retail energy frameworks
• Able to assimilate information quickly, carry out thorough analysis, present findings in a concise and meaningful way and make recommendations, where appropriate
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven experience in external stakeholder management
• Experience with developing digital platforms would be looked on favourably
