Job description
The Retail Technology Business Analyst will work with the global Technology Retail Excellence team to collaboratively drive the development of store technology in PGA (AU/NZ/SG/JP) and work directly with the local leadership team, SME’s and cross functional teams on mission critical projects.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Analysis and Project Management
- Gather business and functional requirements from stakeholders
- Implement any new POS, POS-CRM and Omnichannel related projects
- Implement POS ongoing enhancement and deployment
- Responsible to work with vendors to design integration among POS, CRM and omnichannel systems
- Review Functional and Technical Specifications from vendor to make sure that the specification aligns with business requirement and existing system integration architecture
- Lead and organize SIT, UAT and data migration, cutover and rollout with business team, vendor and other teams
- Plan deployment, release management and Retail system related project if any
- Analyze the requirement and business process in a deep details and work with team to define end to end solution within the scope and timeline
- Coordinate team to prepare training manual and conduct training
- Provide hypercare and post go live support
- Any other ad hoc tasks
Stakeholder Management
- Be the primary interface for key business and technology stakeholders for assigned Retail Technology in PGA
- Act as the go-to point of contact for stakeholders to capture business requirements and new requests to the related to in Store Technology
- Work with teams to understand the requirements fully and work with internal teams to define the best possible solutions.
- Maintain effective working relationship with Business and Technology Lead counterparts
Planning and Scheduling
- Participate in the definition and execution of Retail Technology strategy and for the PGA Cluster
- Collaborate in the establishment and management of the Retail Technology roadmaps
- Prepare and present Lean Business Canvas for any new requests from PGA
Working Relationships:
Internal:
- Business – CRM, Ecommerce, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations
- Global IT colleagues within Consumer Technology Team, Supply Chain Applications
External:
- Platform partners including AdvanceRetail, System Integrator partners including BizTalk, BQ OMS
- Consultant teams including Accenture as needed
Pivotal and professional qualifications:
- Field of study: Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Business Management, Data & Analytics, Social Sciences or related disciplines
- Proven structured and hands-on approach to project management and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Plans projects and tasks well in advance including resources required, timeframes and possible changing circumstances. Monitors performance against deadlines and milestones. Manages time in an effective and efficient manner
- Experience with Change Management related to IT implementation
- Certified in Project Management (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, MPM or equivalent experience)

- Strong analytical skill set with a clear business impact focus
- Demonstrated organisational skills, ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects concurrently
- Critical thinking, attention to details and excellent problem solving skills
- Energetic with good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a Global and Cluster setting
- Ability to quickly translate and map business strategy into an information strategy with a focus on reporting & analytics, and able to speak the language of analytics to non-technical stakeholders
