These positions are responsible for the management of clinical/ Medical issues and liaison with the patient, Intensivist, medical Specialist and nursing staff to ensure excellence in patient care and clinical outcomes.

We currently multiple vacancies National Capital Private Hospital to fill in the positions of:

• Resident Medical Officer and;
• ICU Registrar

Medical Officer

• Registration through AHPRA without supervision restrictions
• Qualified and Experienced PGY 2 and above Career Medical Officers
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others

ICU Registrar

• Review and care for patients in the Intensive Care Unit as required by and under the supervision of the Accredited VMO.
• Review and care for inpatients pre and post operatively at the request of the Accredited VMO.
• Experience in line insertion and ventilation.
• Lead the Medical Emergency Team a required.
• Participate in clinical teaching opportunities

Essential Criteria:

• Registered with APHRA and current police check
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently within scope of practice
• Ability to resolve issues, innovative, analysing
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience in speciality
• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Recent relevant experience in medical/surgical acute settings.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience up to $150.00 per hour or up to $296,400.00 per year for ICU Registrar and up to $120.00 per hour or $237,120.00 per year for Resident Medical Officer including superannuation. no penalties.
