An opportunity has become available for a Road tester in our Mercedes-Benz workshop in Warwick Farm. The position entails carrying out quality control inspections and road tests on all Mercedes-Benz vehicles going through the workshop. The applicant will need a keen eye for detail, have a strong customer focus, be able to work in a team environment liaising with Service Advisors, Foreman and Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Complete final quality control checks on vehicles to make sure the vehicles released meet and exceed manufacturers Fixed First Visit requirements.
• To fulfil waiting customer requirements and road test
• To assist the Workshop Controller in the daily functioning of the Workshop
• Carrying out checks on used vehicles coming through the workshop
• Final check of job cards coming through the workshop before handing over to Service Advisors

What we are looking for:

• Qualified technician or Senior technician looking for an alternative position within a Service Department
• Current clean NSW drives license
• Previous experience performing road tests and quality control functions are a benefit but not essential
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong communicator with ability to provide guidance and support to technical team via demonstrated knowledge and capability
