Job description

A Solar Installer must be a problem solver and an action-oriented thinker who is used to working with their hands and take pride in their work. They will spend 70-90% of their day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions. This position requires availability of 40-45 hours a week, M-F. Residential solar installation, roofing, or general construction experience is preferred. The most important feature of a good solar installer is being someone who is willing to learn and isn’t afraid of hard work. • $45-60k, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
• Support the Crew Lead and Electrician to assure the successful completion of the solar system
• Provide a world-class customer experience
• Document completion of quality installation
• Work in a safe manner at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior residential solar installation experience preferred but not required
• Prior roofing/roofer experience or residential construction preferred but not required
• Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds
• Must be comfortable working with heights
• Must be able to climb ladder, stairs, work on rooftops, and work on feet for long periods of time
• Must have a reliable means of transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
