Safety Officer

• Annual Salary Range: $90,067 - $102,192 per annum plus superannuation
• Tenure: Ongoing
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Usual Work Location: Hume Region – Benalla (negotiable across regional VIC)

About the Team

Transport Services is a Group within the Department of Transport, and is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and accessible transport infrastructure and services to all Victorians. Regional Transport is a Division of Transport Services, and is responsible for delivering a better transport experience connecting regional communities, businesses and visitors.

About the Opportunity

The Safety Officer sits within Regional Transport and is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of occupational health and safety programs and procedures to ensure Department of Transport's proactive safety culture in the region. The role will also support compliance with safety obligations, particularly around construction work sites and will work closely with the Corporate Safety Team.
