Job description

The Salesforce Engineer will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The position is part developer, part administrator. The candidate will have a proven record of improving data/process consistency, building custom applications, creating automated work flows and building integrations with external data sets. The Salesforce Engineer will work closely with the Technical Operations, Engineering, Sales Operations and SIS teams to customize the existing Salesforce experience and implement new functionality and tool sets as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• All levels of Salesforce administration from security and permissions to reporting and user experience.
• Primary Salesforce developer creating processes, triggers, flows, integration and custom work streams.
• Complete regular internal system audits and health checks
• Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum three years of related experience
• Salesforce.com Administrator certified
• Salesforce.com Developer certified
• Proven ability to design and implement new apps, processes, workflows, no code, low code and fully custom solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Strong data management abilities
• Einstein Analytics experience a plus

Required Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of the Salesforce architecture including Sales and Service clouds.
• Solid understanding of Apex, SOQL, SOSL and Visual Force
• Must be well versed in Salesforce workflow and automation processes
• Excellent relational database skills including data modelling, data migration and SQL programming
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
• Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
