SAP Functional Consultant (39002)
The Coles Liquor team works across three leading brands (First Choice, Liquorland and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. We understand what our customers need and enjoy—and we work side-by-side with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Strategy to deliver it.
About the Team
In this role you will be working on some exciting projects within the liquor digital team. You will be working across the delivery of complex SAP Implementation projects, whilst guiding project teams through the full project lifecycle
About the Role
As the SAP Functional Consultant, you will have experience in at least 2 end to end implementation and transformation projects of SAP S/4 HANA, as well as a strong understanding of SAP integration landscape and solution requirements. You will be driving the configuration of the S/4HANA solution to meet the functional and business requirements and defining the customisations needed to meet any functional gaps.
A must have for this role is 5+ years SAP IS Retail experience. You will also have previous experience with Material Management, Sales & Distribution, Finance, Accounts Receivables and General Ledger areas and their reflection in SAP. Exposure to SAP CAR would be beneficial.
About you and your skills
- Retail industry experience and an understanding of industry specific KPI’s and benefits of S/4HANA functionality to enable the business.
- Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs, configurations, writing functional specifications, testing and cutover activities
- Experience in defining, designing, governing, and delivering SAP centric solutions that enable and enhance finance business processes.
- Proven ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from multiple disciplines (e.g., SAP capability, Standard industry best practice) in order to produce an optimal business solution
- SAP functional and technical solution design including functional specification documentation
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to Capture and document business requirements and provide quality documentation (including test cases, and user/admin guides)
