About Teaching Quality and Impact

Teaching Quality and Impact develops evidence-based programs, professional learning and instructional resources to build the capability of teachers and school leaders. Delivers improvement at scale through local support to groups of teachers or tailored to schools and principal network.


About the role

The role provides support to educational services staff and school staff in promotion, establishment, monitoring and maintenance of School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs).

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

  • Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check)

  • Describe a project you have managed where you were required to work collaborative with others to introduce changes or improvements. What were the results and how did your input make a difference to the project outcome? (300 words max)

Note: the selection process will include a range of assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role. Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening for this role which includes a Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
