We are seeking to employ a highly motivated and innovative teacher to join the school community to commence at the beginning of 2022. The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic, friendly nature and be conscientious.
Located in sunny North QLD 90-minutes from Townsville, the local community is pretty unique offering a large number of highly regarded primary and secondary schools allowing for a community of educators and their families, and of course a healthy amount of rivalry during the local inter-school competitions. Beyond this, there is a great community spirit, heaps of outdoors, arts, drama and sports activities. For your basics, there is Woolies, IGA and Foodworks and the usual suspects of fast-food joints for those busy nights.
The Roles:
Commencing in Term 3, 2022 we are seeking teachers in the below subject speciality areas
- HPE
- Physics and Mathematics Methods
- Design and Technologies
- Head of Humanities
- Year Level Coordinator
- Digital Technologies
To be successful, you'll need
- Have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing programs from Year 7-12
- Have a commitment to pastoral care and extracurricular activities
- Be approachable, a good listener and an effective communicator
Skills & Experience:
- Relevant qualifications and experience
- QCT registration, or be eligible to hold
