Security Officer

Security Officer, will provide protection and surveillance for a person, group, staff, guests or assets. Patrol a specific area, providing protection when needed and maintaining incident reports.

DUTIES:

* Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, guests and the premises.

*Resolves conflict and restrains individuals engaging in acts of violence.

*In charge of enforcing state liquor laws and regulations.

* Respond to emergencies

REQUIREMENTS:

* They will need to obtain a Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) license. This is obtained through the Bureau of Security & Investigative services (BSIS)

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* At least 18 years old.

* Excellent interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication.

* Remain calm in stressful situations

* Ability to remain flexible and adapt well.

* Help clean and maintain bowling area and arcade.

Skill/Experience:

• 1-2 years server experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a loud, fast paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Will work near moving machinery and / or mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing and moving between tight spaces.
• Will walk for extended periods of time, possibly for extended distances.

COVID-19 considerations:
All guests are required to wear a mask while in the center. Employees are also required to wear a mask throughout their whole shift. Constant disinfecting and sanitizing is done throughout the center, each area is cleaned before a new guest arrives.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Security Guards: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
