A rare opportunity now exists for Security professionals to join a team committed to the safety and security of Patients and staff at our brand new facility at Hornsby Hospital.

Where you'll be working
Situated in the leafy suburb of Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai you will be working at our newly developed site with Modern facilities. The Security office offers a modern work space with employee benefits available such as Supplied uniform, Salary Packaging and fitness Passports.
What you'll be doing

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Must hold current NSW Security Licence Class 1A, NSW Drivers Licence Class 'C' and a valid Senior First Aid certificate.
- Providing service with a strong, responsive customer service focus.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, policy and professional standards in the workplace.
- Demonstrated ability to complete routine event reporting, shift logs accounting for the duration of the shifts and routine patrols, and the ability to compile thorough and concise incident reports including statements suitable for presentation in Court.
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills and the ability to work as a member of a team in an often stressful environment with the willingness and ability to follow direction from team leaders in both clinical and administrative roles.
- Demonstrated ability in working in a team environment.
- Experience in responding to changing and challenging situations.
