We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Team Member to join our team at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre (QLD). The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence on-site whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in Retail Security (Preferred)
  • Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  • Protection of the premises, employees, contractor, and visitors
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • General security duties including administration tasks
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations
  • The ability to complete reports using various platforms
  • Respond to critical incidents and simultaneously prepare written reports
  • The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery of which comes under your control
  • Interact with key stakeholders including building management, emergency services, client representatives and follow team members via the correct communication device
  • Flexible availability to work across 7 days 2 weeks day and 2 weeknight shift rosters

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Hold a valid Queensland Security Licence & First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with key stakeholders
  • Warm and empathetic nature with a strong customer service focus and the ability to manage a variety of high-pressure situations
