Job description

1. General Accounting

• Assist with Month End Close Process
• Perform Bank Reconciliations
• Perform GL Account Reconciliations
• Update balance sheet supporting schedules such as accrued expenses, prepaid, fixed assets
• Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation

2. Cost Accounting

• Review and validate manufacturing invoices, approve for payment and or dispute discrepancies.
• Process and manage claims for manufacturing cost discrepancies between billed vs agreed purchase price.
• Process and manage disputes for inventory receiving quantity discrepancies.
• Review and validate invoices related to shipping charges, handle disputes with carriers, and ensure compliance with contracted rates.
• Reconcile material fabric inventory on a monthly basis, manage disputes as necessary.

3. Financial & Cost Control Reporting

• Prepare financial statements in accordance to GAAP
• Produce accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting for financial analysis

4. Other

• Support Audit Requests
• Make recommendations on process improvements
• Accounting Degree Required
• 5-6 Years' Experience
• 90K - 95K
• Great communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, intermediate or advance excel skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
