About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:

  • demonstrated high-level technical skills and knowledge when conducting performance audits, including complaints management, and the use of appropriate audit methodologies and techniques to enhance corruption prevention across the public sector
  • highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively both within the CCC and with officers of other public agencies in relation to complex and sensitive issues, and to participate in education programs and liaison activities
  • highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to review, analyse and report on complex issues, develop opportunities for improvement, and make sound professional judgements
  • demonstrated ability to manage and complete tasks to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
There are no mandatory qualifications for the role, however possession of relevant qualifications (e.g. business, accounting, commerce, management, etc) are highly desirable. Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution may only be relevant where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Membership of, or working towards membership of, CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia would also be highly regarded, however it is acknowledged that enhanced work performance can result from other learning experiences.
