About the role:


Located in Coles’ leading-edge Supply Chain Technology team, you will support the delivery of the next generation supply chain for the entire Coles.

This role will have you support large programs of work, acting as the primary focal point between the business and the Coles digital community, helping manage and lead the core delivery of various projects across our Coles supply chain division.

What you’ll be doing


You will be an integral part of the Supply Chain Replenishment Engagement Team, playing a pivotal role in the end-to end delivery of Supply Chain transformation Initiatives. You are the primary conduit between key programs and BAU functions and will synthesise content for various program and services, including business users, operations, IT and vendors.

Primarily working across single function projects and assignments, you will ensure new or improved solutions while meeting the business’ processes, standards, and requirements.


Good things you’ll need:


We are seeking a talented and seasoned Senior Business Analyst with sound Supply Chain experience within complex business environments. You are a change agent and a strong communicator, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.


  • Industry experience including: FMCG, Retail and Manufacturing
  • Experience across supply chain replenishment systems or related supply chain platforms – preferred.
  • To be experienced with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • To confidently communicate, collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of business, to achieve favourable outcomes and foster positive relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise conflicting demands and deliver results when under time and/or resource pressures
  • Elicit, analyse and shape business requirements, to ensure the alignment and optimisation between our strategic goals and technical delivery.
  • Collaborate with operational and technology stakeholders to ensure that the design, build, test and implementation of the system and operational solution, delivers to maximum efficiency.
  • Play a key role in identifying future changes and ongoing business improvements.


You’ll also:


Drive business initiatives to completion, leveraging in-depth knowledge and empathy for the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
Be adept with business analysis frameworks and project management practises.
Be able to translate business requests into functional specifications and have a proven track record of using analytical problem-solving skills to improve processes or systems in retail or similar environment.
Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to meet business objectives.
Consult and support technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organisation.
