This State Government department is responsible for supporting Victoria’s community health. Your new role
As the senior campaign officer your responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- Development, planning, implementation and assessment of a key brand campaign.
- Development of campaign strategy, including liaising with program areas for input and endorsement. Strategy should also consider all other department campaigns and how it can leverage a content marketing approach to align with other campaign activity.
- Consult with all stakeholders to get their input and advice into the brand messaging and creative approach.
- Leading procurement processes including sourcing, assessing agency proposals and appointing successful agency.
- Project managing implementation of campaign
- Providing regular updates and campaign reports
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need experience in planning and implementing government advertising campaigns, as well as expertise in providing strategic marketing and communications advice. Experience in developing content for a range of channels, including social media is also needed. A familiarity with procurement processes and the Advertising Approval Group processes would be looked up favourably.
