School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW


About the role
This role provides specialist change management expertise and advice, working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders across a range of projects and initiatives, to deliver and realise best practice change outcomes in alignment with relevant legislative requirements and strategic directions.



Essential requirements of the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in changing work practices and the ways of working, including the development and implementation of change management tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

  • You have been working closely with staff on a new initiative that will change the way they work and there are some staff who are resistant to the change and do not attend the scheduled meeting. How would you manage this situation and who would you co-opt to asssit you?

  • Who are the key relationships you would need to devevlop in any change scenario in a SINSW project?

  • What information would you require to assist in preparing a change management strategy?


Note: the selection process will include a range of assessment techniques to assist in determining your suitability for the role. Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening for this role which includes a National Criminal History Check.
