The Enterprise Applications DivisionThe Enterprise Applications division is a team within the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) whose primary responsibilities are coordinating the support, development, and deployment of enterprise service platforms for all departments within the City. We utilize a combination of on-premises and cloud-hosted applications and are responsible for the maintenance of the infrastructure relating to these applications and services. The Enterprise Applications team assists 850+ users with implementing new applications, upgrades, and training to ensure all systems are available, secure, and resilient for the employees and community we serve.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
What you will be doing: Leading the Department of Innovation & Technology’s Enterprise Applications division into the next phase of technological advancement and success.Working on challenging and interesting projects that push the boundaries of local government technology.Help the City to continue its crucial work by providing a solid technological foundation for its multi-departmental enterprise systems and platforms.Help to develop our workforce as technology leaders who promote diversity, respect, inclusivity, values, and equity within our organization and the community we serve.Supporting the Enterprise Applications team by moving projects forward past challenges and barriers.Actively participating on the DoIT Leadership team where we collaborate on strategic planning, review budget recommendations, explore innovative solutions to challenges, and discuss ways to develop our workforce.We are looking for a team player, with a strong initiative and a driving passion for technology and people. Participate on the City’s financial system replacement project team by providing valuable insight and creative ideas on taking our capabilities to a new level.Perform system reviews on all enterprise platforms to ensure they meet our latest cybersecurity policies.Collaborate with other departments as the technical expert to provide input on enterprise systems, projects, and initiatives to leverage our use of technology and deliver stable and secure enterprise platforms.Create meaningful performance metrics from the work the Enterprise Applications Team is accomplishing.Stay up to date on Information Technology trends by attending training and conferences.For more information please visit the job description here.
