The Strategy, Architecture & Portfolio (SA&P) function is responsible for the overall direction and policy-setting for the use of Technology within Tabcorp, defining the enterprise architecture principles and blueprint, and for planning the roadmap of major Technology initiatives to support Tabcorp's business strategies.

This role will be instrumental in developing solutions that scale, and when appropriate are highly available to support Tabcorp’s project portfolio and to enable enterprise-wide business strategies. You will create value across innovations, transformation, and Business as Usual projects, and be expert, with a focus of cloud and infrastructure, when solutions require an in-depth understanding of both technical vision and business insight.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Solution Architect (Infrastructure and Cloud), you will actively support the architecture function and support projects within a team of architects focusing on Cloud/Infrastructure/Network solutions. You will be empowered to maintain an active engagement and review across changes, as well as support peers and senior stakeholders relating to design and strategic initiatives.

Lead the planning and delivery of solutions to ensure the effective delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects for the provision of world class solutions architecture across the Tabcorp business, to make us fit for the future in a constantly changing world.

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years experience in architecture, built on a foundation of development, infrastructure or cloud positions in large-scale ICT environments.
• Experience in delivering on architecture practices that produce measurable business value and outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience consulting and providing advice to C suite business leaders and technology teams, with a proven ability to develop creative and efficient solutions.
• Excellent at assessing and communicating technical options, implications and recommendations via simple, concise and compelling reports, briefs and roadmaps.
• An extensive understanding of the Information and Technology industry, as well as emerging technologies.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams.
• Working knowledge of IT service management (ITSM), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and frameworks such as TOGAF
• Detailed knowledge of gambling and entertainment industries (nice to have).
