Senior Technical Analyst (37318)
About the role
Reporting to the Financial Technology (FINTEC) Development Manager, this role will see you support and deliver various project solutions and services across Coles’ payment platforms, and offer ongoing resolutions, change, and improvements to the businesses payment ecosystem.
Our FINTEC Team provides the means for Coles and their brands to connect with customers and deliver products customers value, making Coles one of the largest EFT transactional processing entities in Australia.
Coles’ FINTEC team is currently delivering a transformation project, uplifting legacy systems bringing exciting payment and settlement processing solutions, platforms, and services to the business.
What you’ll be doing
As the Senior Technical Analyst, you will offer ongoing support on the delivery a variety of complex projects within Coles’ payment ecosystem and ensure seamless delivery of Coles’ payments capability to our customers across Australia.
In this role, you will bring a wealth of previous experience working within a large complex-enterprise environments and have delivered a variety of payment solutions and offered ongoing support within an integrated system suite, ideally within payment processing and or the financial services domain.
You’ll also, within the Fintec Incident Team:
Provide development and support services for technical changes through project deliverables.- Become part of a small team of permanent and contract resources, providing specialist skills, knowledge and advice on Coles’ Payments Platforms and supporting software.
- Offer your technical proficiency to our QA team across all of Coles’ payment platforms and PINPads.
- Provide project specified technical support to our Payments Service customers.
- Develop and code to security/privacy policy standards including committee, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Good things you’ll need
We are looking for a dedicated and outcome focused Senior Technical Analyst, preferably with a commercial background in payment processing and or similar areas. You will bring extensive commercial experience within a similar Technical Analyst role with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced operational environment, leading project deliveries and technical issues.
You have commercial experience working on enterprise level applications (EFT or payment processing services experience is highly regarded but not essential).
You’ll also need:
Experience working as a Senior Technical Analyst across a large enterprise business, delivering large, complex project solutions.- Background in payment processing including switching, acquiring and settlements – preferred.
- Commercial experience across a variety of payment platforms including but not limited to, Postillion (Office, Realtime, Portal, Prognosis, Internet Payment Gateway, Pin Pad and Terminal Management Systems) – highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of EFT, Payments, and Postillion Platforms - strongly desired.
- The ability to confidently communicate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and brands (both written and verbal).
