About the role:

Our Quality Engineering and Testing vision is “Confidence Engineered into Every Product”. To achieve this we are transforming to a continuous testing model and uplifting the full product lifecycle, supporting capabilities, people and technology.

As a senior test engineer you’ll play a critical role in this transformation. You’ll be a member of a persistent cross-functional squad that act as ongoing stewards for the software products we build and maintain.

As part of the Quality Engineering and Testing Practice you’ll report into Chapter Leads who are experts in software quality and focussed on enabling and uplifting our engineers.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Have a great understanding of software delivery practices and lifecycles

• Are confident analysing systems and technical solution documents to inform test engineering approach and test cases

• Have experience in ETL testing or Data Warehouse testing

• Can demonstrate knowledge of a variety of test design techniques

• Have previously used toolset chains for version control and continuous integration

• Can build and utilise test doubles and virtualised services

• Enjoy troubleshooting application issues with tooling and log analysis

• Are comfortable working in Agile teams on a 12 month maximum term contract

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
