For this role we are looking for an experienced designer that will help shape the vision for a Digital Hiring Assistant to help hiring professionals navigate the complex landscape of tools they use on a daily basis to successfully hire the best talent.As a Senior UX Designer with the Marketplace Team (#IndeedMarketplace), you will collaborate with cross-functional team members to create elegant and simple solutions for small, medium and large enterprise customers with complex hiring scenarios. You should be strong in UX, Visual and Interaction Design and have a portfolio of work demonstrating customer-centric, data informed strategic solutions that are well executed.
Responsibilities
- Partner and collaborate with product management on ideas that will help the team reach user and business goals
- Lead on vision work for one or more of our core project streams
- Incorporate user research to ensure the end users’ voice is incorporated into the design process
- Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience
- Contribute positively to design discussions by creating sketches, wireframes, process flows and prototypes
- Apply Indeed’s design language and established design system in the final UI
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure seamless and continuous development and deployment
- Mentoring and onboarding other UX team members
Who You Are
Qualifications
- A portfolio that demonstrates strength in visual design, interaction design, storytelling, and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs, highlighting your customer-centered approach to design with business and customer impact.
- 6+ years of product experience working creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices for complex and large-scale products. Experience in a B2B environment is a plus.
- Customer-focused, with experience collaborating with UX research or using design research methods to turn customer insights into tangible solutions.
- Effective communicator who can articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to think strategically and manage responsibilities and define milestones, and plan with minimal day-to-day oversight.
- Proficiency designing and prototyping using Figma.
- Prior experience building other digital assistants is a plus.
- Basic understanding of WCAG 2.0; experience adhering to AA standards a plus.
- A degree in design, psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Austin 118,000 - 170,000 USD per year
NYC Metro Area 139,000 - 201,000 USD per year
SF Bay Area 147,000 - 213,000 USD per year
Seattle 136,000 - 196,000 USD per year
