We are looking for an experienced full-time editor, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. As of now, this position will be remote, with the expectation of working in the office as we expand; some hybrid in-office schedules are currently in effect. The ideal candidate for this position is extremely organized and works well both independently and in a team.

Successful candidate requirements:

• Has at least 8+ years experience in Post Production, or 3-5+ years as a Post Production Supervisor, ideally having worked at a post-house or as a freelance Post Supervisor in the commercial, corporate, or digital media space
• Has a passion for post-production - you’re a master at configuring project pipelines, refining and organizing the editors, sound mastering, and colorists on our staff. You don’t mind stepping in to teach or assist teams to make the whole department shine.
• Some systems engineering background or a basic understanding of modern PC/MAC hardware interfaces to allow for intranet and remote editor workflows
• Moderate to expert understanding of FTP, SERVER, and local NAS/SAN systems.
• Can adhere to and refine editing guidelines, while also working with other departments to streamline post-production workflows
• Is a master in Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, and can troubleshoot hardware and software-related issues with those NLE systems.
• Experience in Adobe After Effects and keying Proficient in Color Grading and DI Color pipelines, conforming workflows, and best practices for traditional and digital media platforms.
• Enjoys collaborating with others yet must be self-sufficient and resourceful
• Works well under pressure and can quickly and efficiently solve problems
• Very strong work ethic and ability to multitask, and manage deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possesses an acute eye and ear for detail
• Positive attitude and comfortable receiving direction and feedback
• Is a creative thinker and solutions-focused when problems arise.

Experience wanted but not required:

• Photo editing using Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience working with Adobe Illustrator
• Marketing experience
• Sound Editing and Design
• Experience working with healthcare, product, and television clients
