Service Attendant – Mine Site Cleaner (Casual)

As part of our Service Attendant remote site teams, you will contribute to the day-to-day operations of a mine site by providing excellent customer service to improve the quality of life of guests at their home away from home.

Who are we looking for?

Our Service Attendants are team players. They have a can-do attitude, are flexible to work across many departments and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. Reporting to the Village Manager.

Your job will involve detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping, rubbish removal, cleaning offices, bathrooms and toilets and cleaning crib rooms. You will conduct all duties using appropriate cleaning methods, following cleaning policies and procedures and be able to complete them with in allocate time frames. You will be required to respond in a timely manner to any adhoc cleaning request that require urgent attention. Time management will be key to this role as you will be allocated specific areas / duties to complete on your allocated shift. To be successful, you’ll need:

This position is a Casual Local hire role from Townsville or Rock Hampton, to work at our Labona site in QLD. Our Service Attendants are required to work up to 10 hours per with some weekend work as required.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Australian Citizenship, or full Australian working rights
• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing and a National Police Check

We’d love to hear from you if you’ve had previous experience in hospitality such as catering, housekeeping, grounds maintenance, cleaning or bar and retail. Working on-site with our teams means you’ll be working often in extreme environments. So, having a good level of fitness will help you get through each day.
