About the company

This actively expanding Construction Company has a wealth of expertise in all areas of construction projects in the residential, commercial and industrial space across the Port Macquarie region. Due to exponential growth, we are looking to bring on the expertise of a senior leading hand wishing to move into Site Manager role or a seasoned Site Manager looking for a change, to take on various projects currently underway and due to commence.

About the role

To supervise and coordinate the activities of all trades and subcontractors on site during installation, inspection, testing and commissioning. Responsible for implementing the Clients Corporate Management System on each project to provide a safe working environment for the project. In addition this role is responsible for ensuring each project meets statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage, lead and mentor trades
• Follow through/deliver on team objectives
• Ensure projects run on schedule
• Planning and Organising all activities on site
• Ensure safety and environmental requirements are met

Skills & experience

• Building Industry experience or knowledge 5 years plus desired
• Proven track record in supervision of residential and commercial sites
• Excellent communication and advanced time management skills
• Ability to effectively manage, lead and mentor trades and staff
• Attention to detail and excellent problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated safety and environment knowledge and experience
• Relevant building qualification and white card
• Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
• Experience with Procore and Microsoft Project
